The Hai Tian Hotel

The Hai Tian Hotel is a five-star, "green", hotel with a panoramic view of the sea shared by each of our rooms. It is one of the earliest five-star hotels in Shandong Province and it’s first in reception capacity. Our president is vice chairman of China Tourism Hotels Association, vice chairman and general secretary of the China Famous Hotels Organization and chairman of the Qingdao Tourism Hotels Association. We are the host to the Secretariat of the China Famous Hotels Corporation.

Construction, decoration, furnishing, outfitting and staff training for the Hai Tian Hotel began in 1985. We formally opened and received our first guests in 1988. We have gone through 15 years’ development in competition with hotels old and new. We have received more than a half million guests, the vast majority of whom came from abroad. More than 20 foreign presidents or prime ministers and many more political figures and celebrities have stayed with us.

Rooms--our freshly re-decorated new concept rooms, which lead Shandong province in modernity, high-quality decoration including a broadband network Internet connection speak of our commitment to culture, environmental protection and technology. 561 state-of-the-art rooms; standard rooms, deluxe rooms, suites, apartments, offices and of course a splendid Presidential Suite.

Food and Beverage--We have seven restaurants including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, the traditional Muslim Donglaishun and Western. Food is served in a marvelous variety of rooms and halls as you will find by consulting our Conference and Banquet Reservation Office at the rear of the West Wing lobby. 2400 seats are available. We frequently invite famous chefs from home and abroad. An outdoor barbecue is a delightful change in warmer weather.

Conferences--We have a Multi-Function hall for conferences, meetings and banquets that can handle from 500 for a sit down affair to 800 for receptions and meetings. In addition to this splendid room, which by the way can provide simultaneous translation in five languages, we have a number of other meeting and conference rooms for gatherings from intimate to modest in size.

Leisure--Enjoy the variety of flavors from the Niagara Ice Wine bar and the Naturally Yours Coffee Bar in the East Wing Lobby to the Naturally Yours Pub for nighttime fun on Basement Level one of the West Wing.

Fitness and Entertainment--We have a variety of facilities and services to offer including a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, a fitness center and weight room, massage, billiards, a game room for cards, checkers and chess, Karaoke and two outdoor tennis courts.
