Xi Yanping was born in 1962; he holds a Masters Degree and is currently a doctoral candidate in Management Theory at Nan Kai University. Mr. Xi's posts and duties include: Director of IH&RA- he is the only person to represent China Restaurants Industry in the organization;

Vice President of the China Hospitality Association;

Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the China Famous Hotels Corporation;

Chairman of the Qingdao Hotel Association;

Advisor to senior university MBA's for the Ministry of Education;

Visiting Professor at Shandong University, China Ocean University and Qingdao University; Vice Chairman of the Qingdao International Chamber of Commerce; and Vice Chairman of Foreign Merchant Investing Business Association.

Mr. Xi Yanping has won many awards, among them: the " Five Star Diamond Award " of the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences - the top award of the world service industry. The world-class Hotel Manager Award and Top Ten in China's Restaurant Industry in 2003.

Mr. Xi is a past lecturer of the Sichuan Foreign Language Institute and a scholar of international relations in the Sino-America Culture Research Centre at the Nanjing Branch of Johns Hopkins University. From 1993 to 1998 -- after taking a first in a countrywide job competition -- he served as the Assistant Director of the Qingdao Tourism Bureau while pursuing study of the socio-economic theories of comprehensive management in Singapore's Nanyang University of Science and Engineering. Beginning in 1998, as the GM and Chairman of the Hai Tian Hotel, he led, and largely created, a second stage of development, re-organizing the hotel's staff, methodology and infrastructure to generate the great successes that have followed. During this period he also found time to visit Switzerland for short-term study in the Lausanne Hotel Management Institute and participated in a research institute on industrial and commercial management at Qinghua University. Other accomplishments include planning and oversight of large-scale renovations at the hotel; the establishment of the Hai Tian Travel Agency and the HTHM Co; and implementing the ISO 9002 International Quality System. He has contributed to the design and conduct of the innovative philosophy of management, system and culture that make up the Hai Tian management system inculcating the concept of "Creating value for guests" as well as The Hai Tian Management Patterns for Hotels.

Xi Yanping has had 16 theses or articles published in the American magazine Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Administration Quarterly, Chinese journals and other publications. His theses cover such fields as enterprise management, tourism, literary essays and aesthetics. Main works include A Comparative Study of International Hotels, A System Based On ISO9000 Standards -- -Hotel Quality Management and The Hai Tian Hotel Management Model -- System Design & Hands-on Practice,.

Mr. Yao Xiaoguang serves as Administrative vice Manager of the Hai Tian Hotel Management Group. Since 1987, he's worked as supervisor, Lobby assistant manager, Vice manager, Front Office Manager; Manager of the Sales Department and Assistant to the General Manager of the Hai Tian. He is deep in hotel management experience and rich in specialty knowledge. He has traveled to Germany, Macao, Hong Kong, Japan, America and Canada to visit famous hotels. In 2003, he studied Hotel Management at America's Cornell University. His last position was as the general manager of the Shang Hai Huanxin Fugui Tiandi Hotel (Five Star) a trusteeship of the Hai Tian hotel.

An economist, Mr. Fu graduated from the People of China Public Security University. He is a delegate of the Qingdao Public Relations Association and the Qingdao Chefs Association. His career in hospitality management began in 1987. He held the post of Vice President of the 3-star Shifeng hotel, the first investment hotel in Qingdao. He introduced the famous brand Donglaishun to Qingdao. He has made many journeys to Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia and the Arab Emirates [UAE] to study modern hotel management. Twice voted as an Excellent Entrepreneur in Sport, he was chosen Model citizen of Qingdao in 1998.

Mr. Li holds a Bachelors degree. From 1984 to 1993 he worked in the Qingdao Sifang Vehicle Company as a clerk, Delegate of the Communist Youth League and Secretary of the Communist Party. From 1993 to 2001 Mr. Li was Secretary of the Executive Office, Vice-Director of the Policy and Regulation Department and Director of the Marking Departnment in Qingdao Tourism Bureau, and many times he was chosen Excellent Public Servant. He has made journeys to Taiwan, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong, to study modern hotel management. Beginning in September 2001 he has served as the Vice- President of the Hai Tian Hotel Management Company and as the Executive Director of the Hai Tian Hotel.
